An e-Trading Portal Solution has been implemented which allows Grafton Group companies to exchange key business documents such as orders, invoices, credits, delivery notes and statements electronically with their suppliers and customers.

Message formats that can be exchanged include XML (such as Basda e-build,) Tradacoms, Edifact and CSV, or any other format with a fixed structure and suitable data content. Documents can be delivered direct with the e-trading portal over the Internet using FTP, by email or through any of the e-trading hubs that operate in the UK construction industry such as WeSupply, Coins, Causeway, Asite etc.
