ALL CHANGE AT JACKSON’S MARKET RASEN BRANCH
1st May 2007
It’s all change at Jackson Building Centre’s Market Rasen branch with the appointment of a new branch manager.
Dave Bulmer, from Scunthorpe, has been promoted to the position of Branch Manager and takes over from Jim Kelham who will be staying with the company on a part-time basis in an advisory capacity.
Dave joined the company in 1976 as a plumbing sales assistant. He was then promoted into the role of assistant branch manager in 1981 at Jackson’s Scunthorpe branch, where he supported both Roger Francis and Tony Greaves during that time.
Dave will be responsible for the overall management of the branch and will head a team of 11 people. The Market Rasen branch is predominantly Heavyside at present, and he has already put plans in place to expand into Lightside. Karl Bierlin as assistant branch manager will support him.
Dave, who took up his position on 9th April, said, “ This is a really challenging role and I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to expand and improve the branch. We have a nice team at Market Rasen and I am enjoying working with them all and looking forward to future developments.”
Roger Francis, executive director said: “Dave has done a marvellous job during his time at Scunthorpe. His appointment will further strengthen the team at Market Rasen and we look forward to him developing the branch. I wish him every success in his new role.”
