JACKSON OPENS NEW HIRE CENTRE IN SLEAFORD

1st November 2007

A NEW Hire Centre at a builders’ merchant branch has just opened as part of Jackson Building Centres’ continued investment in its outlets throughout the East Midlands and Yorkshire.

The new hire centre at the company’s Sleaford branch in Lincolnshire, which opened earlier this month, stocks an extensive range of hire equipment to suit everyone from the professional tradesman to the DIY enthusiast.

Jackson Group Hire Centre manager, Mark Shepherd said the developments at the Sleaford branch were part of a £1 million investment by the company to increase hire trade, which has also recently included the purchase of a new plant and access hire customer service vehicle.

Mark said: “The demand for hire equipment is growing all the time and so it’s important that we reflect that demand. The new hire centre is a welcome addition to the existing facilities at our Lincoln branch and it is already making a huge difference to our customers who can now find all the tools they need to carry out their project, however large or small, all under one roof.”

The developments at Sleaford are the latest in Jackson’s commitment to expand its range of products and services, which this year has included the refurbishment and expansion of the kitchen and bathroom showrooms at the Lincoln branch and another new Hire Centre at the Louth branch.

Colin Bartleet, Jackson’s marketing manager, said: “Improving and extending facilities at all our branches is very much a priority. The new hire centre at Sleaford will make a huge difference to our customers and is designed to provide a one-stop shop for all customers.”

The Lincoln-based builders’ merchant has 25 outlets throughout the East Midlands and Yorkshire and is a hire specialist. Experienced staff are on hand to provide full training and safety advice and demonstrations of any equipment can be arranged.
