NEW APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCED AT JACKSON’S BRANCH

30th October 2007

A HARD-working employee at a Lincoln-based builder’s merchant has been promoted into a new role.

Adam Weston, joined Jackson Building Centres as a sales assistant in the roofing department in July 2004, he then went on to work in the key accounts office, before he was appointed into his new position as sales representative for the company’s Lincoln branch.

Adam from Billinghay near Sleaford, who took up his new position on 10th October, said he has found the first two weeks of his job very interesting and was learning new things all the time:

“I am really enjoying my new role, it’s great to be working as part of such a strong team, and everyone has been really supportive. I am particularly enjoying getting out and about and meeting our customers face to face.”

Jackson’s Lincoln branch manager Andy Williams described Adam as a very competent member of the team, with a quiet, unwavering determination to succeed and wished him every success in his new role.

He said: “I am delighted to be able to welcome Adam into his new role, I am sure that he will be a great asset to us and I am confident that he will work extremely well with others to form an enthusiastic and forward looking sales team.”

Adam’s appointment comes shortly after the Lincoln branch has benefited from a major refurbishment project where the Kitchen and Bathroom showrooms were given a complete facelift and a larger sales area was created. The new layout has also made better use of space to extend the range of products available and to give them better exposure.
